David Milligan is a SLED Licensed, NRA Certified, insured Firearms Instructor. He has been training CWP applicants for over 10 years in addition to many years as a law enforcement trainer.  He is also a former Deputy, Police Officer and Police Chief.

Gun rental is available for shooters that have not chosen their own firearm yet.

Programs

Concealed Carry Certification Class

 Our primary purpose is training responsible gun owners the proper techniques for carrying concealed or open carry per State Law.  Taking our SLED certified course is the first step in receiving your SC CWP.  Upon completion, you'll be guided through the SLED application. 

Classes typically run Saturdays from 9am - 4pm.

Home Defense

 Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe  and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to  provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to  self-defense. 

Refresher Course

The refresher course is a MUST NEED for the occasional shooter/CWP holder. This course will help hone your skills, instilling confidence with your firearm.


WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR SC CWP COURSE

The classroom portion covers topics such as, basic firearms safety, proper shooting and carry techniques, in addition to SC CWP laws and the use of force. Completing a written test is required. Students break for lunch and meet at our local outdoor range for hands on shooting and qualification.
